The pace is stated, and held. Every section runs at the real exam's own seconds per question. We shorten a paper by asking fewer questions, never by giving more time, because the clock is most of what an entrance exam measures.
How it is marked
+4 for a correct answer, -1 for a wrong one, and zero for a blank: the same scheme the real paper uses. The report works out where your break-even sits, which is 20 per cent on this paper, and tells you how many marks went back to guesses below it.
The exception, exactly as on the real paper: Quantitative Ability (short answer) has no negative marking, so the correct strategy is to attempt every question in it.
