Terms & Conditions

Last updated 2 August 2026

These Terms govern your use of AI-abled India's website, courses and diagnostic assessments. By purchasing, enrolling in, or using any of them, you accept these Terms. Please read them, in particular section 7 on payments and refunds, because an access code that has been used cannot be refunded.

1Who we are and what these Terms cover

AI-abled ("AI-abled", "we", "us") provides educational courses and online diagnostic assessments to students and their families in India, and trades as AI-abled. These Terms cover your use of our website (www.ai-abled.in) and of every product listed in section 2. Where the student is under 18, the parent or legal guardian who purchases on the student's behalf is the person accepting these Terms, and does so on the student's behalf as well as their own.

2What is sold on this site

These Terms apply to the following, and to nothing else. This list is not typed out: it is built by walking the same product registry the server charges from, so every product this site can take money for appears here, and a product added to the registry tomorrow appears here the moment it does.

Diagnostic assessments. 9 in total, each sold as a one-time access code.

Courses. Live online sessions, taught in batches.

Not sold here. Diagnostics built on the UCAT, the SAT, the ACT, the LNAT, the LSAT and IELTS are not offered on this site, and these Terms give no undertaking about them. The SCOPE College Shortlist Report is also not currently on sale: the model and the college data behind it are still being built, and we will not sell a shortlist we cannot source. If and when it opens, these Terms will be updated before it does.

3Our assessments are indicative, not official

Our diagnostics are original educational tools that indicate where a student's preparation currently stands and what to do next. They are:

Every number, band and verdict in a report is computed in code from the student's own answers. Where a text-generation service is used, it is used only to word the explanation, and it cannot invent, move or drop a number. Any decision you take on the basis of a report, about coaching, study, examinations or applications, is your own. To the maximum extent the law allows, AI-abled accepts no liability for such decisions or their outcomes.

4No affiliation with any examination body

AI-abled is an independent provider. Our assessments are not affiliated with, endorsed by, connected to, or approved by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the Consortium of National Law Universities, the Council of Architecture, any Indian Institute of Technology or Indian Institute of Management, any joint admission or counselling authority, any school board, any university or college, or any other examination or admissions body. Examination names that belong to others are used only to describe the examination a given diagnostic is modelled on, and remain the property of their owners. No institution can pay to be recommended by us, and we take no commission from any coaching provider, college or university.

5Who may use this, and consent for a student under 18

Our services are intended for students in Classes 8 to 12 (or as otherwise stated for a specific product). Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, everyone under 18 is a child, which means very nearly every student we assess is one. If the student is under 18, the purchase must be made by a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms, consents to the student sitting the assessment, and consents to our handling of the personal data described in section 12. That is why a parent or guardian's name, email address and mobile number are required before a sitting can begin: they are the consent, not a formality. A student under 18 must not purchase without that consent, and we may cancel an order placed without it.

How the consent is given and what we keep. At checkout the parent or guardian ticks a box confirming they are the parent or guardian, that they accept these Terms, and that they consent to our handling of the student's data. The payment cannot be started until that box is ticked. We record the tick against the order: who gave it, the email address and mobile number they gave it from, the date and time, and the version of these Terms they agreed to. That record is written once and never edited, so that if we are ever asked what a particular family agreed to on a particular day, the answer is a specific document rather than a recollection.

What this mechanism does and does not do, stated plainly. The Act contemplates that a parent's identity is verified before a child's data is processed, and points to verification of a standard the DPDP Rules describe. A ticked box on a checkout page is not that. What it is: a clear, recorded, parent-anchored consent that is far better evidence than an assumed one, taken from the person whose payment instrument and contact details are on the order. We are telling you where the line is rather than implying we are past it. Verifying the parent's mobile number by one-time password, and then verification to the standard the Rules describe, are the next two steps, and we intend to have them in place before the children's-data obligations become enforceable on 13 May 2027.

Schools, coaching partners and bulk purchases. Where a school, counsellor or coaching partner buys or distributes access for a group, the consent still comes from each student's own parent or guardian at the point the code is activated. It is never inferred from the school's own permissions, whatever those may be, and a partner cannot give it on a family's behalf. In the same spirit, an individual student's report goes to the parent and the student. A school or partner sees who has completed a sitting and the aggregate picture across a cohort, and sees an individual report only where that student's parent has expressly asked us to share it.

6Access codes and delivery

Every assessment is delivered as a one-time access code, sent by email to the addresses you give at purchase, along with the instructions and the exam conditions sheet. A code works once, cannot be transferred, and must not be shared or resold. A LENS code is valid for 14 days from the day it is issued; after that it lapses and the sitting is no longer available. Reports are generated automatically and emailed to the same addresses. Please give correct contact details: if a code or a report does not arrive, write to us and we will send it again. Courses are delivered as live online sessions at the times published for your batch.

7Payments and refunds

Prices are shown in the currency selected by the menu at the top of the page: Indian Rupees, or the currency of the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman or Kuwait. The price shown in your selected currency is the price you pay, in full at the time of purchase. Rupee prices include GST at 18 percent; prices in the other six are quoted with all applicable taxes included.

Rupee payments are processed by Razorpay and payments in the other six currencies by Ziina. Each handles your card, UPI, net banking or wallet details directly; we neither see nor store them. Which of the two you reach is decided by the currency and by nothing else.

An assessment is not refundable. That is the whole rule for all 9 diagnostics listed in section 2, and it holds whether or not the access code has been used, whether or not the sitting was finished, and whether or not you are happy with the result. Please buy on that basis.

We would rather say that plainly than bury it. Once a code is issued it is yours: the sitting is reserved, the questions and the conditions sheet are released to you, and from our side the cost has been incurred whether you sit or not. Where a sitting genuinely cannot be scored, the remedy is the free resit in section 9, not a refund. If you are unsure which product is right, ask us before you pay and we will tell you, including when the answer is that you should not buy anything yet.

Courses are the one exception, and it is a narrow one:

8Prices, tax and billing

9Free resit for a sitting that cannot be scored

Where a sitting cannot validly be scored, for example because it was interrupted or was plainly not attempted, we provide a free resit of the same assessment at no further charge. The clock lives on our server and freezes rather than draining when a connection drops, so a resit is rare: reopening the test resumes the sitting where it stopped. This is the only circumstance in which a resit is given, and it is offered instead of, not in addition to, any refund.

10Acceptable use

Our services are for the named student's own genuine assessment and learning. You must not sit an assessment on another student's behalf, share or resell an access code, copy, record, photograph or redistribute our questions or reports, or attempt to extract our item banks. A sitting that is not the student's own work may be voided without refund, and a report produced from it withdrawn.

11Intellectual property

Our questions, item banks, scoring methods, norms, report templates and all related materials are original work and are the intellectual property of AI-abled, protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and other applicable law. Buying an assessment buys one student one sitting and the report that follows, and nothing else. It grants no licence to copy, adapt, teach from, or build a product on any part of our material.

12Personal data and the DPDP Act

We handle personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Almost everyone we assess is under 18 and is therefore a child under the Act, so the stricter rules are our normal case rather than an exception we have to remember. In plain terms:

Consent version 2026-08-06.1. This is the identifier recorded against your consent, and it changes whenever sections 5 or 12 change.

13Complaints

Tell us first, and tell us early. Complaints go to info@ai-abled.in. We acknowledge a complaint within 48 hours and work to resolve it within one month, which is what the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 require of us.

Anything about personal data goes to info@ai-abled.in, including a request to see, correct or erase what we hold, a withdrawal of consent, or a concern about how a student's data has been handled. The timescales in section 12 apply: 7 days to acknowledge, 30 days to complete. If a data protection complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may take it to the Data Protection Board of India, and nothing in these Terms requires you to come to us first before doing so.

14Limitation of liability

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind except those that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability arising out of or in connection with any product or service is limited to the amount you paid for that product or service, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including a lost seat, a lost year, or a result that fell short of a projection.

15Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your purchase is the version that governs that purchase, so keep a copy if it matters to you.

16Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of any product or service bought through this site, are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing here affects a right you have to approach a consumer forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, where that right cannot be excluded by agreement.
